Capoeira (Regional) is the dynamic art form that incorporates dancing, martial arts as well as aerial and ground acrobatics in one fluid mix. The Brazilian art form is often regarded as one of the most unique martial arts/dance styles to emerge with its high energy music combined with dance and combat moves.
Originally developed by the slaves during the colonial times in Brazil, disguising dangerous combat techniques in beautiful effortless dance carried by the rhythmical music that is so characteristic of Brazil today Capoeira is both exciting and fun as well as challenging and complex.
We run mixed sessions catering for both complete beginners (teaching the basic steps, conditioning and techniques) up to intermediate/experienced level (focusing on advanced techniques and acrobatics etc…) giving everyone the chance to mix as well as enjoying each other’s company while training.
Capoeira can be done by all ages and fitness levels so come down and give it a try.
